Shehbaz Sharif invites Yunus to visit Pakistan

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invited Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus to visit Pakistan.

He conveyed the invitation during a telephone conversation with Prof Yunus and exchanged Eid greetings.

"Had a pleasant telephone conversation with H.E. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of Bangladesh," said Shehbaz Sharif on X today.

He said he exchanged Eid-ul-Fitr greetings and reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthen Pakistan-Bangladesh ties. He also reiterated his cordial invitation to Prof Yunus to visit Pakistan at his convenience and invited a cultural troupe from Bangladesh to go to Pakistan, with the legendary Runa Laila.

Shehbaz Sharif also said he looks forward to the visit of Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar to Dhaka on April 22, accompanied by a trade delegation.
"The future looks bright for Pakistan-Bangladesh ties, Inshallah."
