Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus has extended his heartfelt greetings and Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims in the country as well as all over the world.
In a message, on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, he said after the month-long fasting, Eid brings a message of joy to everyone's life, regardless of the rich or the poor.
"It teaches us a unique lesson of peace, compassion and brotherhood. Forgetting hatred and violence, people are bound by the bonds of equality, friendship and harmony. They share the joy of Eid with everyone," he said.
Yunus wished Eid will bring self-purification, restraint and harmony in the lives of individuals, families, society and the state.
He wished the life of every person be filled with happiness and the unending joy of Eid.
"Islam is a religion of peace. Let's establish the spirit of Islam at all levels of individual, social and national life by avoiding all kinds of injustice, lawlessness, violence and superstition," said the chief adviser.
He prayed to the Almighty Allah for the happiness, peace, welfare and prosperity of all the people of the world.
"May the Almighty Allah help us, Amen," he said.
