Govt resumes dialogue with political parties this afternoon

The advisers council led by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, will hold dialogues with political parties today on continuation of its new round of political dialogue.

"As part of ongoing dialogue, Chief Adviser Prof Yunus will hold talks with some political parties, which will start at State Guest House Jamuna here at 3 pm today", CA's Press Secretary Safiqul Alam told Dhaka Diplomat.

Gano Forum, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Jatiyatabadi Samamona Jote, 12-parties, Jatiya Mukti Council, Labour Party, Jatiya Party (Andalib) and some other political parties will join the dialogues this afternoon.

The dialogues will be held with the political parties to discuss how the reform process can be advanced and their (political parties) opinions will be sought to this end.

On October 5, 2024, the government initiated a new round of dialogue with the political parties, while Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and some major political parties joined the dialogues on that day.
